If you like reading this kind of thing..
I’m thinking that readership has dropped lately, as I’m not getting as many comments here at the Saablog as I used to. No worries.
This morning I visited The Saab Network’s Classic 900 bulletin boards to see what’s new in the world of older Saabs, and found a link to another guy who is fixing up a Saab. He’s fixing a ‘91 9000 turbo, his project is a lot more intense than mine. You can check him out here. His blog is a lot more polished looking than mine.
If you’re visiting the Saablog only infrequently, remember to read down so can ensure you’ve read all of the posts, thereby ensuring you haven’t missed any of the fun.

Thanks man.
What does everybody think of the experimental new color theme? I think it’s a little obnoxious.
Hey, Dude! I’m reading; just not commenting. Keep it up!
Good luck with the autocross! Thanks for the link to my blog
The 91 9000 is not the only saab I own. My daily driver is an ‘85 900 Turbo, with 215K miles on it, originally picked up from the factory in Sweden by my grandfather. It’s in the 3rd generation of my family and after the ‘91 9000 is done, my 14 year old son will inherit it and we will do a rebuild so it will be his daily driver once he gets his license at 16
Sounds like your PS fluid overflow was because it was overfilled. Gotta have room for expansion! Either that or you have a leak elsewhere and air is getting into a line somewhere. Airated PS fluid is overexpanded and will “pop the top” too, but if that’s the case you’ll notice a PS whine when turning the wheel. Good luck again and if you have any 900 quesions, just holler, I’ve had my hand in just about every cookie jar on my 900
Saw this link on a Swedespeed post of yours . . . I’ve driven Saabs since ‘84 (’84 base model 900 & ‘97 9000 CS that was upgraded to full-pressure turbo), & bought a V70R last year. Guess I like Swedish cars. Was thinking about turning my 9000 into a “hobby” car, as I think I’ve read Johann describe it, so your autocross experiences are of interest to me (would like to try sometime, more to improve my own driving skills than to be competitive).
